Position Summary:

As a Financial Services Paralegal at Bradley, you will work closely with our attorneys in the Washington, DC Financial Services Practice Group on a variety of corporate transactions, licensing matters, and governance issues. Position Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on state regulatory rules
- Manage both hard copy and electronic client documents
- Assist attorneys with filings and request for client information
- Order and review public records searches
- Review and assist with licensing requirements and financial forms
- Perform administrative duties, such as calendaring filing deadlines
- Conduct basic legal research using Westlaw and Lexis
- Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements and Desired Skills:

- Bachelor's degree with ABA paralegal certification or Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal studies, preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience within a law firm
- Experience with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) is a plus, but training will be provided
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
