In this role, you will work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to assist in preparing legal documentation and managing cases. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to prepare legal documentation and process transactions. • Conduct client interviews and locate and interview expert witnesses. • Draft legal documents including discovery motions, briefs, affidavits, and more. • Conduct legal research and analysis. • Manage cases and files, organizing and maintaining them. • Assist in all phases of case preparation, including discovery and trial. • Prepare for and attend trials, including coordinating exhibits and jury instructions. • Monitor legal fees, budgets, and project status. • Provide logistical support and maintain legal files. • Assist in developing and implementing office systems and procedures. • Contribute to special projects as assigned. • Perform other related duties as needed. Qualifications: • 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent. • Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal training program or equivalent required. • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. • Strong research skills and knowledge of legal terminology. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suites, and Clio (preferred). • Commitment to excellence and high standards. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Ability to manage priorities and workflow. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels. • Good judgement and ability to make timely decisions. • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm in a fast-paced, changing environment. • Attention to detail and ability to plan and organize projects. • Ability to perform clerical functions and basic accounting procedures. • Fluency in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
