Responsibilities:
• Providing legal advice and counsel on matters related to TTSTC's operations, including investments, contracts, and trust services
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various legal documents such as contracts, subscription agreements, limited partnership agreements, and confidentiality agreements
• Coordinating with outside counsel as needed
• Conducting research and reviewing legislation and regulations
• Assisting with audit and open records requests
• Drafting and revising internal policies and operational documents
• Tracking and reviewing contracts and requests for proposals related to TTSTC administration and operations

Qualifications:
• . or . degree from an accredited law school
• Active license in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas or able to immediately activate license through Texas State Bar upon request
• 7-10 years of legal experience in corporate, investment, or securities law
• Familiarity with investment-management concepts
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with reviewing and negotiating various legal agreements, including limited partnership agreements, investment management agreements, and ISDAs and MCAs
• Knowledge of legal principles, practices, and proceedings in areas such as securities, contracts, corporate, partnership, finance, and administrative/government law
• Familiarity with federal and state laws, regulations, and rules impacting investments and contracting activities
• Skilled in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating legal documentation for investments and contracts
• Ability to conduct legal research and analyze findings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with others to achieve common goals
• Ability to adjust to changing workplace demands and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated integrity, work ethic, and commitment to confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information
