#Sr Paralegal - DLA Piper

DLA Piper is a global law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to its clients. We are looking for a highly talented Sr. Paralegal to join our team. This position is remote and relocation is available according to the Firm's policy.

##Position Overview

As a Sr. Paralegal, you will be part of a client service team and work closely with lawyers, co-counsel and clients on a range of substantive client matters. You will be responsible for researching, preparing, and filing legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, annual reports, managing data rooms, and matter files. You will develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists.

##Position Requirements

* Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
* 6 years’ Paralegal experience supporting a Finance practice group in a law firm or professional services environment
* Experience managing data rooms and matter files on document management systems
* Detail-oriented and self-motivated
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of work

##Preferred Requirements

* Blue Sky experience
* Experience preparing and filing a variety of corporate legal documents (Articles of Incorporation/Organization, amendments, state qualifications, consents, merger documents, closing books, electronic closing sets, initial drafts or certificates, short-form closing deliverables, and filing annual reports)
* Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Large firm experience

##Compensation and Benefits

DLA Piper offers competitive compensation. The pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City, California or Washington is $95k-$130k. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications.
