Wilson Sonsini, a top law firm in the field of patents and innovations, is seeking a talented and driven Patent Agent to join our Life Sciences team. With a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $210,000, and a wide range of benefits and perks, this is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and ambitious individual with a background in cell or molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, or other related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with clients on all aspects of patent prosecution, including evaluating invention disclosures, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and conducting landscape studies
- Collaborate with patent attorneys and receive formal and informal training and mentorship
- Opportunity to work with both US and international clients across all of our offices
- Participate in the firm's law school program while working as a patent agent
- Balance and prioritize a variety of work projects

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in cell or molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, biophysics, or digital health focused disciplines
- Previous law firm or industry experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Qualified to sit for the USPTO patent bar and must pass the exam prior to starting at the firm
- LSAT and plans to attend law school preferred
