We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join our team in our New York City office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to defend and litigate a variety of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination on behalf of our clients. H2: Duties and Responsibilities

- Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a wide range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination
- Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases
- Desired experience in class action and higher education cases

H2: Skills and Qualifications

- JD from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials
- 3+ years of experience, with a strong background in employment law preferred
- Current admission to the New York Bar or ability to obtain admission
- Knowledge of current agency procedures at the state and federal level
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, with the ability to work independently on various projects

At Jackson Lewis ., we value our employees and offer a competitive salary and benefits package. For this position in our New York City office, the expected salary range is between $202,000 - $266,000, depending on experience and other factors permitted by law.
