We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Corporate Legal team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the department with various legal tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare or legal entities and possess a high level of proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. This is a full-time position with day shift hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality corporate/transactional paralegal work product under attorney supervision, including drafting, revising, finalizing, and filing contracts and other legal documents.
• Assist with litigation matters and collaborate with key stakeholders to manage subpoenas and E-holds.
• Work with outside counsel on corporate healthcare transactions, including due diligence, closing checklists, filings, and other related activities.
• Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with special projects as needed.
• Prepare materials and minutes for Board meetings and assist with governance matters for Prisma Health and its affiliates.
• Draft corporate filings and perform legal writing services, such as cite checking and proofreading.
• Serve as the content leader for the corporate policy database and assist with policy searches and reviews.
• Maintain and update template forms and provide support to attorneys in utilizing and adapting forms.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling and drafting correspondence.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification program completion preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare or legal entities.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Knowledge of legal and healthcare concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task and handle tasks promptly and professionally.
