Are you a highly experienced paralegal or case manager with a passion for advocating for employee rights? Look no further than Outten & Golden LLP, a nationally recognized law firm dedicated to fighting for workplace fairness. We are currently seeking a Senior Paralegal, Technical Specialist to join our LitOps department and provide support to our attorneys in all stages of litigation.

Job Title: Senior Paralegal, Technical Specialist
Salary: $115,000 - $120,000 per year
Experience: Minimum of 10 years as a paralegal or case manager at a law firm
Location: New York, Washington DC, or San Francisco office

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate logistics for negotiations, arbitrations, trials, and settlement discussions
- Organize and prepare pleadings and discovery documents
- Manage the discovery process and assist with depositions and expert discovery
- Conduct factual and legal research for case development
- Communicate with clients and potential clients for case administration
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents
- Maintain electronic case files and manage document databases
- Interact with clients and vendors
- Assist with administrative tasks and ad hoc assignments

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a paralegal or case manager at a law firm
- Strong familiarity with federal and NY state court litigation procedures
- Paralegal certification or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor's degree required, with a major in computer science or similar preferred
- Familiarity with some computer languages and programs a plus
- Experience in building and mentoring a team
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility and organization in a fast-paced environment
- Ownership, initiative, and teamwork
- Passion for advocating for employee rights
