Hill Wallack LLP is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, and/or employment law.

The Insurance Defense Paralegal will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Reviewing and analyzing file documents (. company or claim files)
• Determining and identifying relevant information, witnesses, third party documents, and information to subpoena
• Preparing discovery, expert and trial binders
• Preparing subpoenas, letters, public records requests, and authorizations
• Working with preferred vendors for record retrieval, expert retention, depositions/court reporters, and private investigators
• Scheduling depositions, expert exams, client meetings, and witness interviews
• Preparing various discovery requests, responses, and summaries
• Summarizing various records (medical, employment, tax, educational, and surveillance)
• Creating detailed medical chronologies and medical billing charts

# Insurance Defense Paralegal

## Qualifications

The ideal Insurance Defense Paralegal will possess excellent communication and writing skills, be familiar with Outlook, Word, and other electronic platforms, and have certification from an accredited paralegal program or a BA degree.
