Employee Relations Partner - Remote: Salary Information and Job Description

The Employee Relations Partner is responsible for providing consistent, tactical Employee Relations consultation to Managers and Employees remotely. This is a remote position and the candidate must live in the Southeast Region. The salary for this position ranges from $60K to $70K.

Essential Functions:

- Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems
- Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations
- Develop investigation plans and conduct fair, neutral, and timely investigations
- Ensure policy interpretation for supervisors and managers in handling employee conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Partner with Operational Management, Business HR, Labor Relations, and Legal Teams to create solutions for complex Employee Relations issues
- Provide high-quality Human Resources support through performance management, mitigating risk in legal compliance, administration of union Collective Bargaining Agreements, employee communication, and collaboration with COEs

Additional Responsibilities:

- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within region
- Travel as needed to company sites within supported region

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of regulations and/or company policies
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to remain impartial during investigations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four (4) years of required experience
- Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
