**Wilson Elser's Washington DC office** is currently seeking a Cyber Class Action Litigation Attorney with the opportunity to be fully remote. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with several years of experience who are interested in the growing field of where the law and technology intersect.

### Qualifications
- 7+ years of complex litigation experience in State and Federal Courts
- Class Action litigation experience a plus
- Cybersecurity and Data Privacy background a plus
- Excellent research and writing skills, including drafting briefs and dispositive motions
- Experience managing large-scale E-Discovery
- Experience defending in data breach, BIPA, VPPA class actions preferred but not required
- Knowledge of State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
- Member of federal trial bar preferred but not required
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines in multiple cases
- Team player who can work both independently and manage junior attorneys

### Responsibilities
- Assist with defense of privacy lawsuits and data breach class actions filed in state and federal courts nationwide
- Incident response for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents
- Analysis of state, federal, and international privacy laws
- Drafting legal notices of a data breach to individuals and regulators
- Responding to regulatory investigations arising out of a data breach
- Defending privacy lawsuits
- Preparing and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and working with expert witnesses
- Drafting privacy and security policies and procedures pursuant to HIPAA, BIPA, VPPA, and other statutes
