Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a junior associate with two to five years of experience to join their strong litigation practice in their Baltimore office. Serving a wide range of local, national and international clients in all types of complex litigation, this is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a collegial environment of a national law firm.

**Job Responsibilities:**
* Represent clients in local, state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels
* Demonstrate superior academic credentials and strong communication skills
* Follow the needs of the firm and the managers to whom the employee will report

**Qualifications:**
* 2-5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation
* Maryland admission required
* Physical ability to sit for long periods of time, push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds, and intermittently stand, walk, bend and stoop
* Typing ability for the use of a personal computer

**Compensation:**
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
