We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Trademark Paralegal to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Trademark Paralegal, you will play a vital role in the preparation and filing of federal trademark and service mark applications. Your responsibilities will include assisting with statements of use, requests for extension of time, Sections 8&9, Sections 8&15, responses to office actions, and motions for opposition. You will also be responsible for monitoring and handling foreign trademark formalities and renewals, tracking docket entries and deadlines, and preparing reports for attorneys and clients. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to confer with clients, foreign associates, and . Patent and Trademark Office personnel and arrange for legalization of documents in connection with mergers and change of name documents in foreign countries.

Required Skills/Abilities:

To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal customer service skills. You should also possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and work well in a high-paced environment. We are looking for someone with an aptitude for learning new applications, systems, and processes and proficiency in Office365, docketing databases (PATTSY WAVE preferred), TSDR, Coresearch, Page Vault, Global IP Estimator, and document management systems (iManage preferred). Knowledge of foreign trademark prosecution is also a plus.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience is required for this position. A Paralegal certificate from an ABA qualified program is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of trademark prosecution experience.

There is no travel expectation for this position.
