Perkins Coie LLP, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a highly motivated Trademark Paralegal to join their team in various locations including Seattle, WA; San Diego, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Portland, OR; and Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of IP/Trademark paralegal experience, preferably in a mid to large-sized law firm. A paralegal certificate is also preferred.

Job Description:

As a Trademark Paralegal at Perkins Coie LLP, you will assist attorneys in the clearance and prosecution of . and foreign trademark and copyright matters. This includes conducting searches, enforcing trademarks, and conducting due diligence. You will also be responsible for promoting and maintaining the firm's reputation and goodwill. This involves maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and file electronic trademark and service mark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office
- Prepare and file copyright applications with the . Copyright Office
- Independently draft domestic and international Office Action responses, related prosecution documents, and correspondence to clients
- Communicate with foreign associates regarding international trademark matters
- Register and manage Internet Domain Names, both generic and country extensions
- Handle adverse matters, demand letters, and domain name arbitrations
- Ensure accuracy in reviewing, monitoring, and maintaining docket deadlines
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, staff, and clients
- Exercise good judgment, initiative, and leadership to successfully manage projects
- Maintain accurate time and billing records and comply with clients' billing requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of IP/Trademark paralegal experience
- Experience working in a mid to large-sized law firm (preferred)
- Paralegal certificate (preferred)

Salary Information:

The compensation for this position depends on qualifications and experience. The ranges for various locations are as follows:

- Colorado: $61,670 to $123,300 annually
- Los Angeles: $71,820 to $143,630 annually
- New York: $71,560 to $143,110 annually
- San Diego: $70,900 to $141,810 annually
- Washington State: $65,050 to $130,100 annually
- Washington .: $70,250 to $140,510 annually
