H2: Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- 1+ years of experience as a Paralegal or Hearing Representative related to Workers Compensation
- Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation
- General understanding of the workers’ compensation system including EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process
- Highly motivated, results driven, high energy and a sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to observe details on a computer or other electronic screens
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
- Client focused, with the commitment to outstanding customer service and the ability to deliver results
- Bachelor's degree Preferred
- Bilingual (English + Spanish) Preferred
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Must be highly motivated, have a positive attitude, and be a team player

A growing law firm, Abramson Labor Group, is seeking an ambitious and experienced Worker's Compensation Paralegal/Hearing Representative to join their team. This full-time position in the Worker's Compensation department offers a competitive salary of - per hour and a range of benefits including dental, health, vision insurance, and paid time off. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a Paralegal or Hearing Representative in the field of Workers Compensation, a general understanding of the CA Workers' Compensation system, and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

As a Worker's Compensation Paralegal/Hearing Representative, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload, coordinating recommended treatment, providing updates to clients, communicating with involved parties, attending hearings, and maintaining case notes. You will also have the opportunity to review and evaluate case files and potentially travel to assigned Workers Compensation Appeals Board locations.
