Armstrong Teasdale LLP, a law firm in Jefferson City, is looking for a Legal Assistant with at least 2-4 years of related experience. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to work autonomously within a team environment. The Legal Assistant will provide administrative assistance to all litigation timekeepers and must be able to prioritize and effectively complete daily tasks. Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and proofread all documents and correspondence, ensuring proper formatting, spelling, and accuracy before distribution.
- Execute electronic court filings and download court pleadings.
- Maintain both paper and electronic client files, organizing and filing documents in designated order.
- Perform accounting tasks such as processing expenses, reimbursements, invoices, and entering time into the firm's time and billing system.
- Support trial preparation by maintaining and tracking case chronology.
- Manage multiple calendars and scheduling systems.
- Perform digital transcription tasks.
- Assist in preparing discovery production and schedule depositions.
- Conduct conflict checks and complete file opening process.
- Coordinate and make travel arrangements.
- Track and manage CLE reporting.
- Effectively communicate with clients and timekeepers on project updates and information.
