Location: Office Location Flexible Job Title: US Filing Specialist Department: Corporate Group Experience: Minimum of 2 years Salary: $74K - $105K (depending on location) The Opportunity As a US Filing Specialist at Morrison Foerster LLP, you will play a crucial role in coordinating all aspects of . patent filing and prosecution for assigned clients. This includes developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, managing deadlines, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and train junior staff in the department. Primary Responsibilities - Coordinate all aspects of . patent filing and prosecution for assigned clients - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients - Manage deadlines and ensure accuracy and timeliness in all tasks - Mentor and train junior staff in the department - Utilize in-depth knowledge of . patent rules and requirements to work with practitioners in responding to office actions and completing formalities - Monitor and ensure all deadlines are met - Respond to client inquiries and provide status reports as needed - File documents and emails related to . patent prosecution - Review vendor invoices and process for payment Ideal Candidate - Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent experience - Minimum of 2 years of progressive patent experience - Detailed knowledge of USPTO procedures and rules - High level of accuracy and attention to detail - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload effectively - Proficient in essential software programs (.
