Litigation Paralegal Duties: Calculating/docketing court deadlines, documentation productions/liaison with discovery vendors, finalizing and filing documents in federal and appellate courts, drafting of correspondence, shell pleadings, and discovery documents, administrative tasks as needed, and helping build the litigation team.
Qualification and Experience Qualifications: College graduate (or equivalent experience). Must have 5-8 years of litigation experience. Intellectual Property and trial experience are preferred. Familiarity with federal and appellate rules. Knowledge of discovery and trial support software. Strong technical skills are required, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and a Document Management System. Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills. Excellent on-line research and investigative skills. Team player as well as has the ability to work independently. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritize while working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work overtime if needed.
