Dinsmore & Shohl, a highly respected law firm with over 725 lawyers in 32 offices across the ., is seeking a litigation paralegal at our San Diego, CA location. This role offers a competitive salary of up to 90k and the opportunity to work with a team of experienced attorneys and professionals in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of paralegal experience and a college degree or equivalent certification.

As a litigation paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation. This includes conducting case research and investigations, analyzing and summarizing medical records, managing electronic documents, drafting discovery and subpoenas, and working with expert consultants and witnesses. You will also have the opportunity for limited travel to clients and other Dinsmore offices.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct case research and investigation
- Analyze and summarize medical and other related records
- Manage collection, organization and production of electronic documents
- Drafting of discovery and subpoenas
- Work with expert consultants and witnesses
- Assist multiple attorneys through all phases of litigation
- Availability for limited travel to clients and other Dinsmore offices

Requirements:

- 3+ years of paralegal experience
- College degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent
- Highly skilled, proactive, and well-rounded litigation paralegal
- Perform high-quality billable work and have expertise in assisting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pre-trial experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with discovery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Strong technical and database skills
- Document management experience
- Knowledge of state and federal court rules, as well as working knowledge of asbestos court dockets

Salary: Up to 90k
