Job Title:
Litigation Paralegal - GCSolutions Team

Experience Information:

Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate preferred
3-5 years of experience in a mid or large sized law firm

Responsibilities:

H1: Responsibilities

H2: Handle all aspects of electronic discovery
- Manage document reviews and productions
- Load and code documents
- Bates numbering
- Log productions
- Search for documents in Relativity database

H2: Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
- Handle logistics
- Manage exhibits
- Assist in preparing witnesses and experts
- Coordinate technology needs

H2: Interact with IT personnel and vendors regarding document and discovery issues

H2: File and serve motions, briefs, exhibits, appendices, and other documents in state and federal courts

H2: Set up, organize, and maintain files and internal case databases

H2: Organize discovery, research, pleadings, and other relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation

H2: Prepare notebooks for hearings, depositions, and trial preparation

H2: Bluebook and cite checking

H2: Prepare and coordinate service of subpoenas

H2: Basic legal and internet research
- Cull relevant information from a variety of resources

H2: Calendar and track case deadlines

Requirements:

H2: Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate preferred
- Three to five years of related experience in a mid or large sized law firm

H2: Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills

H2: Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines

H2: Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize project requirements

H2: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a client service focus

H2: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
