Law Firm is looking for an experienced International Trade Special Counsel to join our Washington, DC office. The successful candidate will have at least five years of trade remedies experience, including antidumping and countervailing duty experience. Additionally, they should possess familiarity with international trade issues, policies, agreements, and negotiations. Employment experience at the Department of Commerce, US International Trade Commission, Treasury Department or United States Trade Representative is a plus.

We are seeking academically distinguished applicants who have excellent writing and analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines. The minimum billable hour requirement is 1,800 hours.

• Understanding and analyzing international trade policies, agreements, and negotiations

• Drafting pleadings, briefs, and other documents

• Representing clients in hearings, arbitrations, and other proceedings

• Working with clients to identify and assess potential trade remedies

• Developing and maintaining client relationships

• Performing legal research and providing advice on global trade issues

• Collaborating with other departments within the firm

• Meeting the 1,800 billable hour requirement

Qualifications:
