Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex issues
- Prepare well-written memorandums and briefs for submission to clients, courts, and arbitrators
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and other judicial proceedings
- Analyze and summarize complicated legal documents, including contracts
- Negotiate with outside parties on contractual issues and legal disputes
- Anticipate and mitigate potential legal problems for the firm and our clients
- Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts and agreements
- Build strong relationships with clients based on trust and ethical practices

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
- Admission to the Illinois State Bar
- 1-2 years of applicable experience in commercial contracts and/or construction law
