A law firm in Baltimore is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to handle business/real estate litigation and creditors’ rights matters. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience appearing in court, independently handling small to midsize matters, and balancing a busy caseload. Strong attention to detail, excellent legal writing, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Job Duties:Independently handle small to midsize litigation matters.Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials.Manage and prioritize a busy caseload effectively.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in litigation.Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex cases.Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.Prepare for and participate in depositions and settlement negotiations.Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation. Requirements:Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Maryland Bar.2-4 years of experience in business/real estate litigation and creditors’ rights matters.Hands-on experience appearing in court and handling litigation matters independently.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent legal writing and communication skills.Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively under pressure. Education:Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Maryland Bar. Skills:Legal research and writing.Courtroom advocacy.Case management and organization.Client communication and negotiation.Analytical and problem-solving skills.
