Real Estate Finance Associate at Law Firm

Law Firm’s Real Estate Finance Group is looking for a midlevel associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join the practice in the Washington, ., Baltimore or Tysons office. The successful candidate should have:

• A Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction’s bar
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or government-sponsored enterprises in connection with commercial loan transactions
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating loan documents
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and managing legal due diligence (such as organizational documents and ownership structure, title, survey, zoning, leases, and legal opinions)
• Experience managing and closing complex commercial real estate transactions
• Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and/or other multifamily lenders, and/or syndicated credit facilities is a plus
• Experience with loans secured by multifamily housing, seniors housing, affordable housing, manufactured housing, and/or hotels
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to train and manage junior associates and paralegals
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Outstanding academic record

The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
