Employee Benefits Staff Attorney

The Employee Benefits Staff Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to complex litigation challenging the mismanagement of employee retirement plans. This includes performing factual research, managing client relationships, legal research and drafting pleadings and briefs. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct factual research for existing cases and investigations
- Manage client relationships throughout all stages of litigation
- Perform legal research
- Draft pleadings and briefs as needed
- Track and provide summaries of class action developments
- Manage issues related to electronically stored information (ESI)
- Assist with deposition and trial preparation
- Assist with document review and other discovery tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Active member of the Minnesota Bar
- Litigation experience
- Financial experience a plus, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytic skills to synthesize large amounts of information into accurate summaries

Salary Information:
- Expected annual salary range (excluding bonus): $110,000 - $120,000
