Job Title: Senior Litigation Paralegal Experience: Minimum 5 years in an Amlaw 100 firm or specialized litigation practice Salary Range: $87,500 - $140,000 (Dependent on experience) Department: Paralegal Department Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Paralegal Supervisor Are you an experienced litigation paralegal looking for a new opportunity? Our law firm, located in both Palo Alto and San Francisco, is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on large, complex cases and provide mentorship to junior paralegals. Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years work experience as a litigation paralegal in an Amlaw 100 firm or a specialized litigation practice firm. - Experience with all stages of litigation, including intake, discovery, and trial. - Experience preparing for and attending trials/arbitrations/hearings. - Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail. - Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects with changing priorities. Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform all elements of litigation case management, including file management, discovery, and trial activities. - Implement case calendaring system to track filings and appropriately distribute information. - Coordinate and oversee the tasks of more junior paralegals and other support staff as needed on large litigation matters. - Liaise between case team attorneys and support staff to ensure that paralegal services are meeting expectations. - Interact with outside entities (. courts, government agencies, expert witnesses) to gather information or coordinate activities. - Lead discovery and witness preparation support efforts. - Draft, review, and/or analyze routine legal documents as requested by attorneys. - Provide guidance and training to more junior paralegals. - Maintain effective working relationships with others to facilitate a positive and productive work environment. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates must have a BS/BA from an accredited college and preferably a paralegal certificate. Experience with e-discovery databases and litigation support software is also preferred.
