As a Benefits Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented and diverse team to handle complex case assignments, communicate with clients, and utilize your strong research and writing skills. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in employee benefits law, with knowledge of retirement plans, health and welfare plans, Taft-Hartley benefit plans, and executive compensation.

Responsibilities:

- Engage in sophisticated and challenging ERISA work for clients nationwide
- Manage complex case assignments with strong project management skills
- Communicate with clients on an ongoing basis
- Utilize strong research and writing skills to provide top-notch legal services
- Work independently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Active bar license for the state in which candidate will work out of
- 5+ years of professional ERISA law practice experience
- Strong technological skills, including proficiency with practice management systems and portals
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services and databases
- Project management skills, including the ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 20 pounds
- Bending and stooping occasionally
