In this role as a Legal Assistant for Aldridge Pite, you will have the opportunity to provide support and assistance to our team of lawyers and legal professionals in various practice areas. You will be responsible for processing workloads, drafting legal documents, communicating with clients and third parties, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This is a remote position that is not exempt from overtime laws, and offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
• Process workloads and tasks according to Aldridge Pite procedures and client/investor requirements
• Handle collateral document oversight for the west coast teams
• Draft legal documents and correspondence as needed
• Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties as required
• Handle service and firm transfer tasks
• Ensure timely responses to clients and updates on cases
• Handle QC tasks to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and client requirements
• Coordinate and prepare files for client audits
• Maintain team reference matrices and rules for various states and courts
• Assist with additional tasks or projects as needed to support the foreclosure teams

Requirements:
• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
• Judicial foreclosure experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of multi-state legal and/or foreclosure processes preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Positive attitude and adaptability to change
• Ability to work well in a team and help others when needed
