Main Responsibilities:

• Manage regulatory and corporate transactional matters for health care organizations
• Stay up-to-date with key regulations and laws related to health care industry
• Conduct legal research and provide advice and guidance to clients
• Draft and review legal documents and contracts
• Represent clients in negotiation and mediation processes
• Provide support and guidance to junior attorneys and paralegals

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing regulatory and corporate transactional matters in the health care industry
• Strong understanding of key regulations such as Fraud and Abuse, Stark, Medicare reimbursement, hospital-physician relationships, provider-payor relationships and HIPAA
• Current law license in the state where the office is located
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
