Job Description:

- Seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in family and divorce law
- Strong litigation skills and experience handling contested high-networth divorce cases and family law matters
- Client-centered approach to representation

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently manage a caseload of divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution matters
- Conduct client consultations, legal research, and case strategy development
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and pre/post-nuptial agreements
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions
- Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively in contested matters
- Collaborate with partners and other team members for successful case outcomes
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout their case

Qualifications:

- . or . from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in New York
- 3-6 years of experience handling family and matrimonial law matters in a NYC law firm
- Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills
- Excellent writing, negotiation, and case management abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Compassionate and client-focused approach to family law matters
