# Paralegal – 0-3 Years Experience - Casualty – Erie, PA

The law offices of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin is seeking to fill a full-time Paralegal position in its Erie, PA office. The successful candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented person who wants to play an important role on a legal team. ## Qualifications

Applicants must have a high school degree and work experience. A Bachelor's or an Associate's degree with a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.

## Job Duties

Paralegals at the law firm of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including:

- Obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing documents, including medical records and financial records, tax and employment records, or any other relevant information
- Providing a medical record chronology
- Preparing for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files
- Compiling evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries, and databases
- Managing files and documents
- Coordinating with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts
- Manage court docket calendar
- Generating status reports, logs, and indexes
- Corresponding with clients and opposing law firms
- Conducting legal research
- Researching and analyzing case issues, including medical research of facts, medical articles, and expert articles
- Communicating issues with experts and investigating and analyzing expert qualifications and experience, including prior transcripts, testimony and articles
- Performing additional duties as required
