Job Summary:

The Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant at a law firm is responsible for providing administrative support to attorneys in the Litigation Practice Group. This includes managing calendars, organizing and filing legal documents, coordinating billing processes, and maintaining smooth working relationships with staff, attorneys, and clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a mid-size law firm, excellent proofing and editing skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and a generous benefits package.

Responsibilities:

- Managing calendars and scheduling appointments for attorneys
- Organizing and filing legal documents, including e-filing
- Coordinating monthly billing processes and maintaining billing guidelines
- Corresponding with clients and answering telephone calls
- Maintaining active case files and closing inactive cases
- Making travel arrangements and submitting expense reimbursement reports
- Coordinating conflict searches and preparing new client/matter reports
- Anticipating the needs of attorneys and keeping them organized

Experience and Qualifications:

- Familiarity with Oregon and Washington Rules of Civil Procedure
