AV-rated Insurance Defense law firm located in Trinity, Florida seeks a Litigation Paralegal to join its team. To be successful in this role you should have litigation experience, thrive in working independently, and possess a strong eye for detail. You will assist in all aspects of case preparation and file management up to and including settlement or Trial. Duties and responsibilities include:
-Corresponding with clients, insureds, adjusters, and Outside Counsel
-Preparation of Trial notebooks, Trial exhibits, and other evidence for use at Trial
-Schedule hearings, depositions, and Mediations
-Draft subpoenas, motions, and other legal documents and correspondence
-Review assigned cases periodically to determine status
-Drafting and responding to discovery
-E-filing through the Courts
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and full benefits, including insurance, PTO, and retirement plan offered. 35 hour work week. We are a no-smoking office.
