Summary:

Law firm Orrick is seeking a Managing Associate with 3-5+ years of experience in Employment Law to join their dynamic Employment Group in any of their California offices. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including pre-litigation matters, high profile single plaintiff employment cases, systemic discrimination and wage and hour class actions, and Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) representative actions. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing and interpersonal skills and be a member of the California State Bar.

Responsibilities:

- Work on pre-litigation matters, high profile employment cases, and class actions
- Respond to administrative charges and counsel clients on employment issues
- Take an active role in handling complex legal matters
- Work directly with corporate clients and manage cases
- Take and defend depositions, make court appearances, argue motions, and handle mediations
- Participate in training and mentoring programs and shadowing opportunities

Qualifications:

- 3-5+ years of Employment Law experience
- Strong academic credentials and a member of the California State Bar
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits:

- Expected salary range between $310,000 and $390,000
