Wheaton office of a **Members Only** Top Ranked Law Firm seeks transactional attorney with 5+ years of franchise law experience. The candidate will manage a client base independently and responsibly in collaboration with the team. Strictly transactional work, including franchise disclosure and registrations, drafting Franchise Agreements and related documents, franchise relationship issues: renewals, transfers, defaults and terminations, franchise law compliance (client counseling, training programs), government inquiries, FDD review and counsel for prospective franchisee clients, business sales, commercial leases, and commercial contracts and client consultation on a variety of business issues. Experience representing franchisors is required. Experience representing franchisees is strongly preferred. Other transactional business law experience is preferred. Experience with and desire for direct client contact is essential. Must be admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.
