Law Firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Litigation Paralegal. This role will be responsible for managing all administrative tasks related to legal cases, including drafting legal documents, maintaining files, scheduling appointments, and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and format legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence
- File pleadings electronically with courts
- Communicate with clients through proprietary websites and provide case updates
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and depositions for attorneys
- Maintain positive relationships with business associates and clients
- Work closely with other staff members and attorneys in a team environment
- Proofread legal documents and attach exhibits as needed
- Provide support to the Legal Team in a high-volume, time-sensitive atmosphere
- Manage a portfolio of files for clients
- Draft and generate pleadings and other legal documents
- Assist with portfolio/inventory management
- Generate reports and follow-up on outstanding tasks

Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent; secondary education or some college preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or general knowledge of litigation/bankruptcy proceedings
- Certified Paralegal a plus
- Knowledge of Real Estate and/or Creditors’ Rights a plus
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Self-starter with good time-management abilities
- High-level proficiency in MS Office suite
- Familiarity with case and document management software
- Good understanding of law and legal procedures
- Ability to transcribe correspondence and reports
- Proficiency in internet research activities

Salary Information:

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, which includes a salary range of $45,000-$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and accomplishments.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical demands and work environment for this position are typical of an office setting. The employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to perform tasks, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.
