Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in Omaha, Nebraska. Location:
Duties:
- Manage personal injury caseloads through the pre-litigation claim process
- Interact and negotiate with insurance companies
- Communicate and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
- Ensure the accuracy of all prepared documents
- Comply with legal standards and regulations
- Provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff in Omaha, ensuring adherence to all laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Active Bar license in Nebraska
- At least 2 years of personal injury practice experience
- Preferred: Active Bar license in Missouri
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Committed to providing excellent, responsive, and compassionate client service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) and tech-savvy
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Active Bar license in Nebraska (Missouri license preferred)
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and legal writing abilities
- Ability to handle a busy caseload while maintaining quality service to clients
