The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with experience and superior skills at performing the following tasks with minimal supervision: 

  • Communicate with clients and witnesses to gather relevant facts needed to prepare pleadings, discovery, disclosure statements, and responses to discovery
  • Draft discovery, discovery responses, and disclosure statements
  • Draft stipulations and orders
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trial and arbitrations, including preparing exhibits, trial notebooks and handling logistics (., audio-visual needs)
  • Manage the firm's calendar and case management database
  • Review and summarize document productions and depositions 
  • Schedule meetings with clients, prospective clients and others
  • Coordinate with court reporters
  • Arrange for and oversee service of process
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed

The ideal candidate will also be proficient with Microsoft Office products (., Word, Excel) and Adobe, and have a strong working knowledge of the applicable Arizona Rules of Civil  communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills and professional appearance are also required.
