Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a passionate and motivated Entry-Level Immigration Attorney. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a seasoned legal team and contribute to impactful immigration cases. The role provides hands-on legal experience with detained and non-detained clients, and a supportive environment geared toward professional development and long-term career growth.

Duties:

  • Conduct strategic consultations and explain immigration processes clearly to clients

  • Represent individuals in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals

  • Handle and oversee a caseload of removal defense and family-based immigration matters

  • Prepare and file a variety of immigration applications, petitions, and legal briefs

  • Meet with and intake detained individuals at detention facilities

  • Collaborate with legal assistants and fellow attorneys on case strategy

  • Engage with community groups, prosecutors, and law enforcement to stay informed on immigration law developments

  • Train and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony before courts or immigration authorities

  • Review and revise immigration packets and applications for completeness and accuracy

  • Analyze case-specific legal issues and advise clients on available legal benefits

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing immigration law

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

  • Committed to team collaboration and professional integrity

  • Demonstrated experience in EOIR, USCIS, and family-based immigration matters

  • Familiarity with legal case management software is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with a . State Bar

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in any . jurisdiction

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • High emotional intelligence and cultural competency

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills

  • Confidence in courtroom settings

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
