Duties:

  • Represent clients in family law, civil litigation, and probate matters

  • Attend court proceedings within a 90-minute radius of Peoria, IL (occasional travel up to 3 hours)

  • Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare court filings

  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and legal professionals

  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas

  • Maintain accurate time records and meet reasonable billing expectations

Requirements:

  • Newly licensed attorney in Illinois or JD graduate with license pending

  • Strong interest in litigation and client advocacy

  • Willingness to travel for court appearances as needed

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Illinois Bar or pending admission
