Job Summary:
Our reputed firm in Lake Success, NY is seeking a Counsel, Contract Management to join our Legal and Compliance department. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating and overseeing the administration of terms and conditions for organization IT contracts. You will provide strategic advice and guidance to the Counsel function and collaborate with Legal, Procurement and other departments. The salary range for this position is $140,100-$245,200/year and is subject to potential modifications based on various factors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate and oversee administration of terms and conditions for organization IT contracts
• Advise management on contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions
• Collaborate and coordinate with Legal, Procurement and other departments
• Review company and customer objectives and resolve issues regarding contract compliance
• Research and recommend contract policies and procedures
• Maintain strong understanding of industry best practices and current developments in contract administration
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor and admission to New York State Bar required
• 10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership/management experience required
