Duties:
Represent clients in family law, civil litigation, and probate cases
Attend court appearances within approximately 90 minutes travel time each way (occasional travel up to 3 hours)
Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and case analysis
Participate in client consultations and case strategy sessions
Collaborate with paralegals and support staff for efficient case management
Maintain compliance with internal billing practices and productivity expectations
Requirements:
Recently licensed attorney or JD graduate with pending Bar results
Demonstrated interest in family law, probate, and litigation
Willingness to travel regularly for court appearances
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active Illinois law license (or awaiting bar results with intent to practice in Illinois)
Skills:
