The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a highly qualified attorney for the position of Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust, Multistate, and Privacy (AMP) Unit of the Consumer Protection Section. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, vision, dental, and life insurance plans, state pension, and deferred compensation.

As an Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Section, you will be responsible for handling complex and high-profile civil litigation and criminal prosecutions. In the Antitrust, Multistate, and Privacy Unit, you will work with other state attorneys general and federal enforcement partners to enforce state and national laws related to competition, consumer protection, and data security. This may involve investigations and litigation related to monopolization, conspiracies in restraint of trade, and mergers with significant impact in Missouri. You will also be responsible for enforcing Missouri's data breach notification laws and the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act, as well as various federal statutes such as HIPAA and COPPA.

In this role, you may be required to travel within Missouri on an intermittent basis, including overnight trips. You must be licensed to practice law in Missouri and have at least 5 years of experience in the Antitrust, Multistate, or Privacy field. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of state and federal court practice, exceptional educational and professional credentials, and trial experience.

Job Responsibilities:

- Handle complex and high-profile civil litigation and criminal prosecutions related to consumer protection, antitrust, and privacy
- Collaborate with other state attorneys general and federal enforcement partners on enforcement actions
- Conduct investigations and litigation related to monopolization, conspiracies in restraint of trade, and mergers with substantial Missouri impact
- Enforce Missouri's data breach notification laws and the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act
- Enforce federal statutes such as HIPAA and COPPA
- Travel within Missouri on an intermittent basis, including overnight trips
- Maintain a strong understanding of state and federal court practice

- Advise and provide guidance to the Attorney General on legal matters related to consumer protection, antitrust, and privacy
