Job Title: Junior Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys.
- Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals.
- Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.
- Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action.
- Keep files organized to ensure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
- Collaborate with partners and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently.
- Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, declarations, and settlement agreements, among others.
- Perform legal research and prepare legal memoranda, identify marks and organize evidence to support the client's case, and prepare statements of facts for cases with citations to the evidence.
- Meet a billable hour requirement of 140 hours per month.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must have passed the bar exam.
- Must be a member in good standing and actively involved with the American Bar Association (ABA).
- Juris Doctorate (.) degree required from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Probate, Family, Business Litigation, or Trust Law is required.

Salary Information:
- Compensation ranges from $45 to $80 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
