A Chicago-based law firm focused exclusively on personal injury litigation is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Entry-Level Litigation Attorney. This full-time, in-person opportunity is ideal for a recent law graduate admitted to the Illinois Bar who is ready to take on high-volume casework involving automobile and premises liability claims. The firm offers extensive courtroom experience, including depositions, arbitrations, and trials, along with hands-on involvement in case development and litigation strategy.
Duties:
Conduct depositions, arbitration hearings, and participate in jury trials
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
Appear in court for hearings, case management, and other proceedings
Collaborate on litigation support and trial preparation
Engage directly with clients and opposing counsel
Manage multiple case files with attention to deadlines and details
Provide strategic input during various stages of litigation
Requirements:
Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois
Demonstrated interest or coursework in personal injury or trial advocacy
Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Capacity to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to appear in court and take responsibility for the case progression
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Illinois State Bar admission (required)
