Job Title: Visiting Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (Open Rank)

Job Responsibilities:
The **Members Only** Sturm College of Law seeks to hire visiting faculty members at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor for one or both semesters of the 2025-26 academic year. The primary responsibilities of the faculty members will include engaging in outstanding and innovative teaching across various legal disciplines, with a particular focus on Business Law, International Human Rights Law, Externships, and the Lawyering Process. Faculty are expected to impart relevant doctrinal knowledge and professional skills, while fostering an inclusive learning environment for students. Responsibilities also include aligning with the educational goals of the college to support both full-time and part-time JD programs, as well as pioneering Master's and specialty programs. Faculty members are expected to adhere to the academic calendar and participate in service commitments and research agendas as outlined by the reputed firm.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have a . degree or its equivalent, along with an outstanding academic record and relevant professional experience. A commitment to inclusive pedagogy is also required. The position is open to candidates across a range of subject matter areas, although there is a particular need in Business Law and related fields. The candidate's experience and qualifications will determine the rank at which they are hired, with potential titles including Visiting Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor of Law.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 per semester. For applicants not currently serving on the faculty of another higher educational institution, the anticipated title would be Visiting Assistant Professor of Law with an associated salary range of $50,000-$60,000 per semester. Candidates whose qualifications and experience counsel for appointment at a different rank will be eligible for such an appointment and for commensurately higher compensation. For applicants currently serving on the faculty of another higher educational institution, the anticipated title would be commensurate with their experience, and payment would presumptively be made through an inter-institutional agreement with the applicant’s home institution, covering the applicant’s salary and benefits. The **Members Only** has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
