Job Title: Visiting Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Law

Job Responsibilities:
The **Members Only** is seeking applications and nominations for a visiting professorship for the 2025-2026 academic year. The position offers flexibility in terms of duration, allowing for either a one-semester (fall or spring) or a full academic-year visitorship. The appointment will be at the rank of Visiting Assistant, Visiting Associate, or Visiting Full Professor, depending on the candidate's experience.

The primary teaching responsibilities for the visiting professor will include courses in Wills & Estates (Trusts & Estates) and Family Law. Additionally, the role involves engaging with the academic community by presenting work in progress to the Law School faculty and receiving feedback and mentoring to prepare for the academic job market.

For those participating in the VAP (Visiting Assistant Professor) program, the role extends over four semesters, from Fall 2025 through Spring 2027. VAPs will gain teaching experience and have the opportunity to focus on research, writing, and other scholarly pursuits. The teaching schedule will be designed to accommodate the timing of the job market process.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess a . degree from an ABA-accredited law school. They should demonstrate a commitment to teaching in an environment that values excellence in teaching and mentoring students. Applicants are expected to have a distinguished academic background, with either significant promise or a record of excellence in both scholarship and teaching.
