A prominent law firm located in Dallas, TX, seeks a Junior Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Technology Transactions practice group. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in technology transactions or corporate transactional matters, looking to specialize and grow within a dynamic, cutting-edge practice. The role offers an exciting path to work on significant global deals and emerging technologies within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Draft and negotiate complex technology, intellectual property, and data-related commercial agreements.
Handle transactions involving strategic IT and business process outsourcing, ERP licensing and implementation, SaaS agreements, and other enterprise technology arrangements.
Support clients with corporate transactional matters such as M&A, corporate finance, and IP licensing where needed.
Advise clients on legal issues related to technology, data privacy, and intellectual property rights.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external clients to deliver strategic solutions.
Stay informed about advancements in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and emerging technologies.
Maintain and prioritize multiple ongoing matters with minimal supervision.
2-3 years of experience at a large law firm in technology transactions or relevant corporate transactions.
Strong experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
Solid understanding of intellectual property, data protection laws, and commercial technology agreements.
Proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
Bar admission in Texas is required; admission in Georgia, Illinois, or Massachusetts is a plus.
Willingness to work in-office at least three business days per week.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active Bar membership in Texas (required) or in another . jurisdiction with eligibility to waive into Texas.
Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills.
Strong organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Proactive and solution-oriented approach to client matters.
Enthusiasm for learning and working in cutting-edge areas like AI and quantum computing.
