Duties:

  • Engage in commercial mortgage-backed securitization, including origination, securitization, syndication, and/or participation of commercial mortgage loans and mezzanine loans.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and legal analysis on real estate related securities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents.
  • Provide strategic advice on securities transactions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to support high-profile transactions.
  • Manage multiple aspects of transactions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial mortgage-backed securitization or related practice areas.
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance, securities law, and securitization processes.
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal issues and transactions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Education:

  • Strong academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice in relevant state bar (or eligibility for admission).
