King Law Offices PC is an established and respected civil litigation firm that is looking for an experienced civil litigation attorney to join their team as a Senior Associate or Junior Partner. This position will be located in one of six locations throughout North Carolina and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have at least two to ten years of experience practicing civil law and excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.

Salary Range

$80,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience)

Location

Columbus (Polk Co., NC), Marion (McDowell Co., NC), Lincolnton (Lincoln Co., NC), Waynesville, (Haywood Co., NC), Charlotte (Mecklenburg), and Brevard (Transylvania Co., NC)

Responsibilities

- Represent clients in various civil dispute matters, including but not limited to collections, construction litigation, demand letters, landlord-tenant matter, and malicious prosecution
- Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and providing regular updates to clients
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Engage in negotiation and mediation efforts to resolve disputes amicably
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management
- Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals

Requirements

- . from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing with a state bar association
- 2-10 years of experience practicing family law
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered focus
- Experience in business development and networking activities is a plus
